Some Literature

Isn't that such a pretty picture of the Wethersfield Cove? I took it last weekend when Kenny and I went to skip rocks.

I recently finished reading A Wrinkle in Time. What a cute book. I never read it when I was a child so I can only imagine what that would have been like with the imagination I had back then. I still have an overactive one so the reading was quite enjoyable. I can't wait till Alex is a bit older so that she could read it. With that done I picked up Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn Monday morning. To give you an idea on how much I enjoyed it, I finished it last night at 2am. It was a mystery/thriller and I want more! I was actually sad when it was over, it was so enjoyable. And it just so happens that her newest novel came out on Tuesday, so you know what that means, my 30% coupon for Borders and I need to get over there and buy it.

I think my next read will be My Lobotomy. It is a memoir by Howard Dully. He is trying to figure out why he was given a lobotomy in 1960 at the age of 12.
